Before the weekend begins and I don't have time to post, I thought that I would post just a little so that it doesn't look like I'm neglecting the blog...
Neglect much like that I am doing with my other blog Stay Focussed. I suppose that means that I am far from focussed and I must apologize to K & S however I think they are in the same boat. I hope to get back on track with that one but for now, all I can do is stick to the eating better/getting more exercise part... Maybe this is a good reminder to the three of us.
If you like Lego, you might want to check out this photo essay entitled Iconic photos in Lego which has some famous "toy" versions of well-known black & white photographs. I thought it quite clever although it would be great to have the originals up as well to compare them. Nevertheless, it's a great photo essay. Thank you to the Guardian Online for posting it.
Also, I found this article a little surprising. In this Reuters online article, it appears that 81 percent of Americans think their country is on the wrong track. That's a startling number of people, don't you think? I knew that things weren't looking so good down there but I don't think I would ever have imagined that that many people would be so down about the direction that their country is going in. Public opinion is an interesting thing.
Anyway, I also wanted to give an award of recognition to D who successfully translated my Welsh statement a while back. The Welsh phrase "Mae fy hofrenfad yn llawn o lyswennod" translates to "My hovercraft is full of eels". It was strange to find such a phrase on a translation site but even stranger still is that I didn't know that they put eels into hovercrafts in Wales. I can feel a crazy t-shirt making activity coming, that's for sure... And, D, if there is any underlying meaning to that phrase, let me know before I wear my new t-shirt out to any Welsh events...
Have a great weekend all!

Hope all is well with you Lola. Enjoying the weekend? :-)
Thank you for dropping by Robert! The weekend was kind of non-eventful and I did manage to get at least one thing done...
Oh, and Dave, no worries about the Welsh thing... A friend informed me that it was from Monty Python...
Cheers all!
